Mustek r100a issues

Does anyone know how to remove the macrovision protection from my Mustek r100a? Also, I do not seem to be able to get clear sound when I search for channels with the DVDRW, except the digital channels. Is there a known issue with sound concerning the Mustek? I did whatever the manual says but I can only get sound and b/w picture from the scart source, which is not too good cause I have to change from Scart 1 to Scart 2 whenever I want to watch whatever I recorded in colour. I would appreciate any info. Thanx in advance.

I can't help you with the second part, but to remove macrovision you need to put a timebase corrector or similar removal device between your source and the Mustek's inputs.

You might want to read other user comments. Go to DVD Writers on the left of the screen under "Lists" and search for the model number under "Only Desktop DVD Recorders".
