    When I try to play captured MPEG2 files (From Videoh! Easy DVD Creator), the playback speed is too fast (about 2X). They play fine on WMP and Power DVD, but I would prefer to use Showtime if possible. When I convert the files to DVD format, the DVD playback is fine. this is REALLY confusing the hell out of me. Anyobody know what the problem is or how it can be resolved? Thanks.

    you can try "fix" them using tmpgenc and remultiplex them. under file->mpeg tools in tmpgenc select simple multiplex and select your mpg as both video and audio and create a new one.
