I am having a bit of a problem converting my .TS HDTV files to DVD. I'd appreciate some input from people who have got it to work OK.
Here's what I do, and the results I get:
1. Demux the .TS file into m2v and ac3 file using XMuxer
2. Convert m2v file into a 720x480 NTSC DVD file using ProCoder2
3. Author the 2 files, using DVD-Lab.
4. Burn as normal. Audio and video are about 1 second out of sync
I have also tried converting the ac3 audio into wav and mp2 and authoring using these, but get same audio sync problem. It is as though the demuxed files are different legths to begin with.
If I play the .TS file, it plays on my PC in sync.
By the way, the converted video files play perfectly, excellent quality, and the sound is excellent quality too, just out of sync.
Any thoughts ?
Thanks,
Kevin.

in a transport stream (even in a program stream) , the audio may start after the video ..
you dont say if it is always out of sync or gets out of sync over time and what frame rate the files are ."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650)
