    Hi,

I just assembled my new system and run into this problem. The BIOS sees the SATA drive as 200GB but Windows sees only 131 GB.
I installed the XP Pro on the drive upon booting from the CD.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  2. Make sure you have at least XP SP1 installed.

Is this the only reason for this problem or I should check something else?

SP2 includes the required mods too. But SP1 is sufficient to support HD's greater than 130Gb.
