  1. YES, I purchased the DVDs. I don't even KNOW how to burn DVDs so I need some help.

Basically, I hate the new Boba Fett lines. I want to make a new DVD with the old ones.

Is it possible to rip the new ESB DVD and somehow replace the new Temeura Morrison lines with the old Boba Fett lines? Dub them in somehow? And then burn the whole thing to a DVD?

I'm pretty clueless, so if this is possible I'd love to know how. I can't stand the new voice even though its only 4 lines in the movie.

You'd have to rip the audio from the new DVD, convert it to WAV, and cut out the new dialog, replacing it with the old dialog, then recombine the audio to the video. You'd have to make sure you replace the audio with a clip of the EXACT same length, or the audio will be off for the rest of the movie. Seems too much work for such as small thing. You could always get the THX laserdiscs and convert those to DVD, as the Jeremy Bulloch lines are unchanged there.

  3. I don't think getting the exact same length would be too difficult of a task. It really would be worth it to me.

    I wouldn't lose any video/audio quality ripping and re-burning?

It's not Bulloch, BTW, it's Jason Wingreen. Little known fact.

    Hello,

As a test you could extract the vob to wav with besweet (to six wave payload). The dialogue is in the center channel. You could try to merge the original dialogue into one file and copy that over the center channel. Then you could try to remix them to ac3 and reauthor it. It would be time consuming and tricky but it might work. Good luck and may the force be with you
