I really hate to say this because I use to hear it all the time but Suga you got to READ ...go to the tool section or do a search . . but to give you a break... it was a powerful tool a bit confusing at times because I did not have a manual, I had to do trial and error. but that was many years ago and I do not know how compatible it will be with new programs or components

    1. yes - there are guides on the web, there are tons of posts here.
    2. it was state of the art in it's day, and it's very powerful, but also probably more complex than the average user needs.
    3. very expensive - was $30,000 when new and cutting edge, and still sells for $2-3,000 on eBay.
    4. eBay.

I suggest buying a car instead.

  5. There are still dealers that carry it, but be prepared to spend a pretty penny. Unless you're doing complex authoring, or doing commercial titles, you would be better off settling for something else.

it comes with a very good manual - it still works today on anything - except you need new dongle drivers for xp

Maestro is THE Business, I can do anything with this baby and it isn't out of date in relation to today's stuff because the DVD spec is set in concrete until the day they bring out DVD2 or whatever.

This software gives you total control over the format which even new apps cant even come close to except obviously Scenarist etc.

If you can get it, GET IT.
