  1. Hi can anyone explain what does that suppose to mean?
For subtitles, what's .sub format and .srt format? Anyone knows what's the use of VobEdit?

Also, what is about AVI and MPEG-2?

Can someone explain to me what does the 07ec in the left column means?
Or anyone knows where i can find help and explainations on VobEdit?

    Thanks!

Straight to the F.A.Q. for you !

VOBEdit can do a wide number of tasks, from joining VOBs to demixung them.
    If in doubt, Google it.

    Hello,

AVI - Audio-video-interleave = video file. Microsoft creation - it is most common for divx compression.

MPEG2 - motion picture expert group dvd format - dvd standard.

  7. Can't help you with Vobedit, but I can tell you that .srt files are text based subtitle files that you can rip from DVD extracted vob files with SubRip. They are used in various software players, and some hardware players (eg Philips DVP642).

    Read the F.A.Q.

    Read What is DVD

Ask a specific question about a process you are trying to do because almost all general questions have been answered within the walls of this site

Tell us specifically what you are trying to do, how you are trying to do it and what you are using to do it with and you may get more specific help.
    If in doubt, Google it.

07EC is the hex representation of 2K (2048) minus the header = 2028
Mpeg2 streams are divided into chunks, and that's the size of a chunk.
its either a "pack" or a "sequence" . can't remember.
