I need to find a simple tool to convert audio from real format into mp3 or editable wav format but could not find it yet. making things more complicated real files have many sub-formats by themselves which are nt always compatible.
Any help?

I have found Mini-stream ripper which could handle the different real formats easily. The demo version could run for about 3/4 of your files than ask for registration. However it is working.
It also take real video files and convert the audio part into MP3, a nice feature! -
Real7ime Converter will do what you want. Has option for conversion both to wav and mp3. The mp3 option does not work correctly.
Will also convert old rm videos to avis.
