I ripped "Blame It On The Bellboy", and it seems to be OK when played on the PC.
I ripped "Pirates Of The Carribean", but when I played it on the PC, I lost all sound on and after Chapter 4.
I think this is a rip problem, but wanted to check b4 writing to DVD-R.
Oh, by the way, I use Fantom CD which creates a virtual CD/DVD drive on my PC. If I create an ISO of my resulting movie, I assume I could load the ISO into Fantom CD and check it for errors? I hope someone has done this b4 so that they can answer this question.
TIA

I found the problem(?).
I was using Intervideo's WinDVD to play the HDD-based DVD, and for some reason, it didn't like Chapter 4.
I then installed PowerDVD5 and there was no problem.
For your information, I ripped it once using DVD Decrypter and the second time using Smart Ripper. With Smart Ripper, I changed the Rip method to "Backup" and off it went!
Thanks.|
