  1. When ever I try to copy a dvd with nero it gets to the end and give me and error message. It has done it to me with all my dvd's that I own. Then I try to use dvd decrypter to copy the files onto the hard drive it always gives me an error right at the end. Any ideas ?

What do you mean by copying DVDs with Nero. Do you mean burning a finished DVD folder? Does it fail at the end of burning?

i think your problem is you're clicking on DVD COPY as in COPYING ON THE FLY in NERO BURN. COPYING ON THE FLY doesn't always work unless you have the speed of the reader (dvdrom) and the dvd burner going at the same speed. Also if the dvdrom and dvd burner are on the same IDE that will cause you to have failed burns by doing COPY ON THE FLY which i think is what you are doing. Try a older version of DVD SHRINK like version 3.05B. Then you can use NERO to burn after you've compressed the dvd movie with DVD SHRINK. Here's a download for a older version of DVD SHRINK version 3.05B.

It would help if you gave us the error messages you are getting - otherwise we are shooting in the dark

  6. You could also try reading the disc in your writer, and / or slowing down the read speed.

Also try bumping up the option in decrypter as to how many times it tries to read an error before giving up.

  7. The error always appears in dvd decrypter and nero, I tried decrypter like 4 times and the same spot it would always give me the error. Copying on the fly with nero, not sure. I click nero, I click copy and I instert original disc and a dvd-r, I tried the slowest speed and all the times its the same result. I will have to find the error, I actually posted a topic awhile ago and it should have the error in there and what it said. Also I tried extracting the files with dvd shrink and then making it like that but dvd shrink gives me an error to.

If you're going to use DVD COPY, look at the tab that says, "COPY OPTIONS", drop the read speed low. Now look at the tab that says, "BURN", make sure that burn speed is the same as the "COPY OPTIONS" speed. If it's not then you will get a coaster.

As for your errors on DVD SHRINK I suggested you try a older version of it. The only difference in the older version is you don't have the BUILT IN NERO TO BURN.

I haven't used DVD COPY at all. Although I've used CD COPY to make VCD's. I would suggest you try out using the older version of DVD SHRINK then just use NERO to burn.
