Problem with DVD Decrypter

I still have DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink on my computer and until recently the Decrypter worked. Now whenever I put a disc in it always says at the bottm on the Decrypter box, "Device Not Ready (Medium Not Present). Last time I burned any dvd's was back in late August and it worked great back then. Now I just get that message whenever I put any disc in.


I guess DVD Decrypter is finally dead. What are the best softwares to be able to burn dvd's like how I used to do it with DVD DeCrypter and DVD Shrink?

You could always uninstall and reinstall the app. But before doing that, I would try another burning app. This is most likely a hardware issue...ie. bad burner.

do you also run AnyDVD? It acts as an intermediate between the hardware and any ripping apps. If it's choking on the disc, you may never see it become available. Try to exit or disable the app.
