    Hi

    Can anyone please help. I have some backed up dvd's and have burned the files using nero 6. The problem i am having is that no program on my pc will read the disc's,yet they Will play in a stand alone dvd player.

    Has anyone experienced this problem before, and has anyone got any idea's, suggestions to overcome this problem?

    Because your dvd is in vob format, and plus because it has to be an mpeg 2 rather than mpeg 1, most of your existing software will not play these. You need a program like PowerDvd or WinDvd to play these files, even right off the disk.

    On the far left of this screen, go to Tools. Look in the dvd playing category and see all the software that come up from the search. Pick one.
