Okay folks, I've got a few things I've downloaded. Now, I need to know an effective method to encode them so that they'll work on my RCA lyra AV jukebox(yes, I know it sucks.Yes, I know they haven't upgraded the program for it since april. Yes, I have no money to buy something better.). it says that they're mpeg4-asp, and that B frames are dectected. I've got no idea what that means, but I can tell you that it makes it not work. So what should I use to make it function properly? Or do you have a VERY cheap alternative suggestion?

I just had a look on google and it plays MPEG-4 and MPEG-1 video. I don't know what that error that you are getting means, but I would be fairly confident that you might need to re-encode the video. TMPGEnc Free can encode to MPEG-1 for you, while VIrtualDub is just about the pick of the free DivX/XVid/3ivx encoders.
If in doubt, Google it. -
I already tried them both: didn't work. Any other suggestions, or an explanation as to why I got a weird error about something called "DX5" when I tried to use pocketdivxencoder to get the job done?
