  1. Hi,
I am a newbie to this forum. I am using the AVStoDVD Program created Jan. 11, 2011.

When I add this file to my project, I don't get the image thumbnail like the other files have. Instead, I get an error message within the project button which states the following: "ConvertFPS: New frame rate too small. Must be greater than 31.7460. Increase or use 'Zone': (C:\Users\Mark\AppData\Local\Temp\Avi SynthP.avs, line 4)"

Also in the project button: "FFAudioSource: Audio track contains no audio frames"

Also in the project button: (C:\Program Files\AVS to DVD\Lib\A2DSource. avsi, line 97)"

MediaInfo gives me the following title information (after I clicked on the + sign):
    • AVC - 1872 kbps - 768 x 432 - DAR 1.778 - 0 fps (VFR) - Progressive - 53:00 minutes - 0 frames
    • AAC LC - 0 kbps - CBR - 2ch - 44100 - 53:00 minutes - Internal
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

don't know where you got that video, but it's a bit screwed up. it has variable frame rate video and and most likely variable bit rate audio. can you even play it on your computer? if yes you might be able to encode it to constant frame rate video and cbr audio, which avstodvd might accept. you could also try avidemux to convert to dvd spec mpeg-2.

    and welcome to the forum

  3. Thank you aedipuss,

I can play the file on my PC. The file is the Playboy Playmate Review 2010 and it is a .flv file. I got it off the internet.

Thank you for your suggestions, but if you say that this file is screwed up, I won't bother encoding into a DVD.

After writing my thread, I decided to delete this problem file and try to encode again. The encoding went fine; however, during the Authoring section, it aborted while in the MuxMan stage. I saved the BatchMux log, but I don't have advanced technical knowledge to know what MuxMan is.
I think that the program AVStoDVD is too advanced for me. What do you think?

Can you recommend a more user-friendly application that will encode many different video file extensions - such as Matroska, .flv (flash video), .mp4, etc.? Perhaps Nero Vision Extra 10?

I appreciate very very much thay you responded to my thread.
    Have a good day.
