i open my file in TMPGEnc, but the audio does not show up. i open the file in GSPOT and this is what it said

extract the audio to wav with virtualdub or avi2wav and use it as audio source in tmpgenc.

Try AVIcodec. Under 'codecs and filters', check 'audio'. Down the list you should see, 0x0161 Windows Media Audio V2, Version 4.2.0 (or similar).
I believe this is standard audio codec for windows. If you don't have it, you might check Microsoft and see if you can find it there.
