Lately I've had problem's with ElBy's CloneDVD, both an earlier build an, what appears to be the latest (or, last,) build. The questions I have about that program I'll post seperately. However posters here have advocated using DVDshrink, with Nero. My question is what programs in Nero do I need to use DVDshrink. In NeroVision, I appear to have DVD authoring tools, is that what I need? (I plan to print out a guide to use DVDshrink, and, install it later today, depending on replies.)

  2. You'll just need Nero to burn. DVD Shrink will automatically tell Nero to burn your DVD

If you are burning single layer DVD, then you can use version 5.5 of Nero Burning ROM. I am not familiar with Nero Vision, but I suspect if it has Authoring/burning capabilities, Shrink will recognize it. DL is only supported in latest versions of Nero. But you can always use Decrypter to burn, if you have Shrink version 3.2 - both are free.

Nero ( Burning Rom ) 6.3 works gret for me but cost money. Use DVD Decryter ( FREE ) in conjunction with DVD Shrink 3.2 and choose to output to " ISO / Burn with DVD Decryter "

It will rip and/or transcode your original DVD as needed and once it knows the path to your DVD burining drive, with a blank disk in it, it will activate DVD Decrypter and burn your ISO to DVD.

    Works for me 100%
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!
