  1. there are alots of guide "how to rip dvd" to divx/xvid
    but I don't know which one is the best

    I have a dvd which I want to rip it to xvid/divx (what do you suggest?)

    the dvd sound is 6 ch

    plz , what is the best way to rip it ?

    also I want to rip out the subtitle from the dvd and not make them built in in the movie (not built in)

  2. I would go for XviD, and a program called Gordian Knot, it makes things easier...

    ripping is merely the porcess of decrypting the movie from the disc to your hard drive. for this I would use either smartripper or DVDDecrypter. From there you can use DVD2AVI, Virtualdub-MPEG2, and a number of other programs.
    If in doubt, Google it.
