Hi everyone, I've tried looking on How To's for DVD ripping in this site, I've downloaded Ripit4me, DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink, ImToo DVD Ripper, Magic DVD Ripper, but I still can't rip DVD the way I want it. And all of these programs offers me complicated steps Can anyone pleaseee recommend me any easy DVD Ripping programs? I'm sorry administrator, that I can't obey the forum rules about posting the same topics I actually wanted to rip certain part of the movie, but it seems difficult, so I planned to rip the whole movie, and trim it later on with Movica. Anyone has better suggestion? Thank you so much.....

First of all ,what problems are you having? the mentioned programs are IMO very easy to use...Also R4ME,DVDD,and shrink are no longer updated and you need a new ripper such as DVDFab,though some folks still use those you mentioned with mixed results on older flicks..Not sure about IMToo,Magic or Movica ,as I don't use them...

    DVDFab HD Decrypter : http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm

Then you can use dvdshrink in reauthor mode like so : https://forum.videohelp.com/topic333816.html , to grab what you want .

If you just want a movie only rip, DVDfab HD Decrypter can do this on the fly as well.

I intended to rip certain parts of the movie, or the whole part of the movie. But it ripped and splitted in chapters.......

Is it possible for me to grab for example: last 3 minutes of chapter 1 combined with first 10 minutes of chapter 2? Thanks

Open the disc in DVD Shrink. Click on Re-Author and drag the title you want the clip from over to the left-hand side. Right-click on the title and select Set Start and End Points. Move the sliders to where you want the clip to start and end, then click OK. Back up as normal and you will have the clip you want as a DVD structure. From there you can extract the video and audio for use elsewhere if necessary.

The subtitle should be in the clip you have grabbed, assuming it was ticked when you ripped it. In the preferences you can set certain streams to be on by default, although you might better off doing this in PGCEdit afterwards.
