Dear all,
I have searched a lot but didn't find the right answer to my question? So can someone tell me the differences between
Taiyo Yuden wit printable or the
Taiyo Yuden non printable
regarding the printable layer? Is this printable layer an extra layer which make them (besides printable) more reliable or has the non printable also an 'extra' layer but not printable.
I have also read that the printable layer can cause some problems in the long term and that, if you don't use the layer to print on, you better buy a non printable. Is this right?
I don't print on it. Maybe writing with a good marker. I'm also speaking about CD's not DVD's
Thanks in advance

Is the printable layer a extra one ? I guess it is in a way, but its only very thin. Run printable ones both printed and unprinted with no problems...
If your not going to print onto them dont waste the extra ££ buying printable ones. Not bothered by small problems...
