  1. I decided to try these guys out - www.cleanfilms.com
taking advantage of their free trial and to see how they edit their movies.

All I can say is - someone please direct these people over to VideoHelp.com!!

I've seen better picture quality on a sixth generation VHS copy than the flushed out over-saturated contrast DVDs they are putting out.

They don't even know how to make a menu - it has one of those generic table charts with a unnamed file that you select to play the movie

If you want to keep a couple bad words out of your movies, at the expense of watching 'em coated in chrome, full screen, on cheap media (move over NG) and a huge watermark stamped across the screen...then this is the place for you 8)

Clean Films are BAD - really BAD
So bad that you don't even know the true meaning of the word BAD until you've experinced a CleanFlims DVD Production :P

You just have to see it to believe it - I'm seriously not kidding

I'd swear the DVDs had been run through the dishwasher
When They say Clean - thay aren't kidding

The place that started all this used to be around the corner from where I live (Kaysville, UT). He had a stand-alone player hooked to a capture card in his ancient G3 Macintosh (the old kind in the greeish-blue tower), then edited the resulting DV-AVI in Premiere and exported it as MPEG-2. Which software he used to make the DVD structure was beyond primitive, as he was only able to run teh first release of OS X. He did this in the back-room of his bookstore. He ran the whole place on Macs.

Utah and clean-video. Probably Mormon. It sounds cool with what he's trying to do, but yeah, he should probably hook up here to at least get his films a bit "cleaner" for his customers.

I hope you wrote them an email or letter telling them that! Companies like this need to know people won't stand for sub-standard quality.

Maybe they do in Utah. You never know. The place is clean and sterile. Why do you think it's settled in a valley called SALT LAKE. If the state were a person, it'd be a hot 22 year old virgin girl.

  8. Doramius, you don't seem to have any experience with mormon girls. They are the wildest chicks in the US! Period...

    :chuckle:

I live in a community that is about 50%-70% Mormon. My brother is a police officer in the same community. The number of times he's caught the young'uns doing the dirty deed down the ol' dirt road is...

...if you took a picture of the Milky Way and counted all the starts in it...

I think I've made my point.

As for cleanfilms.com, that ****** should be locked up and the key should be thrown away! If you're going to pirate movies, violate copyright law, AND do it under the pretense that God approves, at least use Taiyo Yuden DVD-Rs!

    :P

Hell, we need DirtyFilms - to add foul language and sex scenes where there were none before.

Now that's my idea for a good business!

Did Dolly spring a leak again, or is Patches that $2 ho you were talking about. Either way, sounds like an interesting night. :P

Can you imagine what could be done with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs? Know wonder Snow White went into a coma. She was practically drained. After slaving for Seven little men and then giving them what they need. Obviously Disney cut out the mass orgy scene. You know it happened.

They already porned that story a few times - a softcore version in the late '60s and a hardcore version in the '70s

Cinderella (a few times), Alice In Wonderland, Little Red Riding Hood, Goldielocks and few others all have been made into porn flicks.

What about musicals like Fiddler on the Roof and My Fair Lady? What's the Fiddler fidling with on the roof? And Liza Dolittle doing a lot.
