Tmpgenc problem

Hi, sorry if this is a common problem but I did try searching and reading posts and couldnt find what I was looking for.

I use Easy Video Joiner to join my mpgs before I use Tmpgenc to encode to a dvd.
Done this for over a year now and everything was fine and dandy, but now all of a sudden, when tmpgenc is encoding it will get to the point where the files are joined and freeze while its still encoding.

Leaving me with half a movie of a still frame!

Ive also tried lots of other joining programs and im still hit with the same problem so ive narrowed it down to being a tmpgenc problem.

All I can suggest is to convert seperately and then join them at the authoring stage.
