  1. hi

i don't know if this is the right place to ask but anyhow i was wondering if anyone experienced this before. i bought a canon elura65 on ebay knowing well that the camcorder i'm bidding on is not perfect. the seller did mentioned that there's no audio when you play it back on the camcorder. i got the camcorder and as mentioned, it's what's wrong with it. other than that, everything else works fine, including audio when played on tv. i'm planning on sending the dvcam to canon to get it fixed. how big of a problem is this and do you think the canon people will mess with it? btw, included with the cam is the whole kit that came with it when he bought it, including the warranty card.

What do you mean - will the canon people mess with it. If you send it in to be serviced by Canon, it will probably be serviced. Will the do it under warranty ? No reason not to unless the existing warranty required registration and only applies to the original purchaser.

If the problem was not serious though, why didn't the original owner get it fixed under warranty ?

i really don't know. i could only guess. even if it was serious, and it's under warranty, it would still be covered.

i'm just wondering if anyone has this type of problem before with elura 65, and what was the outcome of it...[/i]
