  1. Hi

    I have the second season of supranos in divx and would like to convert them to dvd format without losing any noticable qulity. I would like to know how i can tell how many episodes i can fit onto one dvd as i wont be able to fit them alll onto one dvd.

    I do the Divx to DVD conversion quite often i.e. converting tv capture clip from Showshifter to DVD. I have Divx codec 5.1 installed. Use Premiere 6.5 to edit, frameserve to TMPGenc and output to PAL DVD format.

    Hello,
    The few divx cds I've made had a 750 or so bitrate on 1 pass and that fit 2hours onto a 700mb cdr. I guess you just go up from there. The calculator has presets for dvd-r. Just play around with it.

    No, thats what the bitrate calculator is for. But the higher the bitrate the higher the quality, up to a certain point. the ouput file cannot be better quality than the input file.
