Trying to convert AVI's to DVD. Tried DVD2SVCD and now TMPGenc and get the same result. The resulting mpgs play fine on the PC. Before creating a DVD and after. But when I put it in the DVD player it skips. Happens on multiple DVD players.
If anybody has an idea I would greatly appreciate the help.
Thanks,
Ed

The video continues to play fine. The audio is what skips. It's weird the audio still lines up perfectly, it just kind of dissapears or doesn't play for a half second then it's back. It continues to do this through the whole clip. Actually through all the clips. The Media is Ritek Ridata branded discs. I have been using it for my captures and other DVD conversions. I will try another branded disc and see what happens.
This is driving me nuts. I need my drive space back but don't want to just burn these off as avi's and waste discs just till I figure this out.
Thanks
