.wmv to DVD+R conversion...anyone?

Anyone know how to convert .wmv to dvd+r? I have TMPGenc, but I believe it will only convert to dvd-r....

You could use Stoik WMV-AVI Converter and then TMPGEnc with the DVD2SVCD GUI.

dvd-r and dvd+r is only the media, it has nothing to do with dvd-video. you are converting to DVD mpeg2 with tmpgenc and then you author and burn dvd-video on a dvd-r or dvd+r.

So TMPGenc Plus will convert the video and make it available for burning onto a dvd+r and thats all that I need aside from my burning software? Or do I need something to author with (which I know nothing about as of yet)


I'm not worried about titles or anything, just the video.

Hello,
You still need to turn the video into a .vob even if you don't want menus. I've heard you can just rename the final .mpg to .vob and it should work (though I haven't tried it - backup the .mpg if you try that ). You can just use a basic dvd authoring progam and they should let you make a movie only disc (ie auto play the movie only).
