ac3 to dvd?

Hi guys basically what i want to do is demux ac3 (from avi) then change to 2-channel stereo so i can load into tmpgenc (along with the video) and convert to dvd compliant mpeg 2 . After i demux (the ac3) from avi how do i change ac3 to some 2 chan stereo format so i can load into tmpgenc, and convert to compliant pcm?

if you are gonna make dvd you can leave it as ac3 and just convert the video to mpeg2 dvd. read this guide

if you anyway want to convert to pcm you can use ac3 acm decompressor and virtualdub
