  1. I am trying to back-up a dvd of mine using DVD shrink 3.1, however during the analyzing process I get the error "DVD SHRINK ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM & CANNOT CONTINUE. FAILED TO READ FILE "E:..." INVALID ACCESS TO MEMORY LOCATION". Can someone please help me with my problem. Not sure why error is occurring. Also if error cannot be corrected using dvd-shrink, what other means can I use to back up my dvd?

Thanks in advance to whom reads and/or responds to my post.

  2. Clean the disk, also too many scratches will cause problems.

Use DVD DECRYPTER to RIP IN FILE MODE first then use DVD SHRINK to compress. Or you can try a older version of DVD SHRINK like version 3.05 BETA but it doesn't have the NERO BURN built in. Here is the download for it: http://mrbass.org/dvdshrink/dvdshrinkold/

You could also try using the newest DVD SHRINK that was released today and download it from the tools section<<<<<<. I would strongly suggest using DVD DECRYPTER to RIP IN FILE MODE FIRST then use DVD SHRINK to compress.
