I have a few videos encoded thru tmpgenc with some tinkering. What I want is to convert my mpeg2 videos to VOB bypassing the dvd standards.
Like bypassing the 25 fps for NTSC and so on...
Is it possable?

Hello,
Anything's possible with dvd. You just might not be able to play it on any regular dvd player. PC dvdplayers will play just about anything. I'd suggest you use a rewritable disc first before you make any coasters.

P.S. It's 30fps for NTSC, 25fps for PAL.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
Thats good, now are there any programs that can just turn the mpeg2 into vob w/o check the damn standard?

my cheap no name dvd player will play mpeg 1 and 2 files on a dvd burned as a data dvd, with no converting or headers just raw mpeg worth trying if u have a rw disc or cd, only some players do this and ive found that friends with posh brand name players cant use my discsbut its handy to pull back to pc if thats the case, worth trying before you start converting

Hello,
Besides using a file level player you might try ifoedit. I've never had much success with it. I'm not even sure it converts mpeg to vob. Keep looking and maybe you'll find something.
