  1. I've been having problems using CCE Basic with DVD Rebuilder (been getting a #0004 error) and I think I might have found out why. I recently ran some tests on CCE Basic (I tried to encode some AVI files I had) and found that all the output files play with horrible green blocks coming up all over the video. You can't watch the videos at all because of all the color changes and the blocks it creates. So I'm thinking maybe I have CCE Basic setup wrong so I uninstall it and make sure I leave everything default but I get the same result. Has anyone seen this before? If so, can someone help me figure out a way to fix this? Thanks.

  2. it'd have been helpful if you posted more detail on when the error message appears & exact text of the error messsage.

I think you're referring to a "buffer overflow Error # .....3 or ......4 " during the encoding process. This error has nothing to do with the quality of the output, nor with the CCE settings I beleive. It has something to do with unability to read the file structure info in IFO files.

Did you use TitleSet Blanker, or VobBlanker, or in any way modified IFO files? If you did, probably that it's the reason for your error message.
My imression was though that CCE can hadle most of these moded IFOs, but every case is individual since every movie is coded differently.

BTW the forums @ doom9 may have more answers for your problem.

    Good luck.

  3. Well, the error I get is the #0004 when encoding that some others have had that have been talked about over at doom9's place. The reason I mention the CCEB configuration is because I read over in that forum to check the .MPV files that are created before the encoding begins. When I checked it I found this problem. I was thinking maybe it's connected. I mean how will the DVD come out if all these blocks come up?

And I also wanted to mention that I didn't modify any IFO files with any other programs. Maybe I'll see whats going on over there again as well (doom9's). Thanks.
