    I have been little greens spots that show up in my xvid and divx video files recently. It doesn't ruin the image but it is really annoying and I don't know what is causing it. I tried reinstalling the codecs and using differnt players too, nothing helps. Also the green pixels are random, they don't show up in the same place twice while rewatching a video. Any Ideas?

    tried uninstall ffdshow? or install the latest version.

    i tried installing it,but that didn't fix anything

    Try uninstalling/removing all the MPEG4 codecs on your computer. Then install only the 1.0 version of XVID. If that doesn't fix the problem install the latest DIVX.
