  1. Hi, i'm new to this whole dvd burning and stuff.
    Recently i used dvdxcopy to copy my YGS. Somehow after the burning is completed, i popped it in the dvd player and it played. Along the line, the movie started moving slowly and lagging. And also i get "Disc Reading Error" on some part also.
    Despite the problem, i used dvdshrink to make another copy of the dvd, but the same error/problem occurred.
    So now i was wondering if my burner is a faulty one or did i do something wrong.

    Did you make another copy from the original, or from the copy ?
    Did you burn the second copy to a blank from the same spindle as the first, or of the same brand of blank ?

    It sounds like you have a bad batch of blanks.

  3. yes i did, i copied it from the original cd
    and yes, i did use cds from the same bundle...
    so now i have to get new dvdr? cuz i definately can't return it or exchange it.
    any other solution?

  4. also...could it be that my apex ad-1500 can't read dvd that has been burned with speed of greater than 2.5x? i've read it at user comment and saw it. haven't tried with other players tho

  5. I bet it's cheap media. 90% of the time its the media. Give us some more specs.
