Hi all
Wonder if anyone can help me? I've recently started downloading and playing hi-def files with full-blown surround sound and (obviously) high quality picture. To do this, I installed the K-Lite Codec pack and am playing files using Media Player Classic Home CInema. The results are pretty much perfect 95% of the time yet with one annoyance. On pretty much every file I play, there's always certain points where the file glitches briefly, recovers, but then the sound is slightly out of sync. I have to stop playing the file, replay it again and skip to just after the glitch point to resume watching with the sound in sync.
It's *really* annoying!!Can anyone advise what could be causing it? As far as I can tell, MPC-HC is using FFDSHOW to do the decoding and the results have been fantastic. Except, of course, for the seemingly random (except it's not) glitching.
Cheers

I'd suggest testing with another codec and possibly another player. If it glitches in the same spot, it would indicate a corrupt file.
