I'm authoring with DVDAuthor GUI a movie which lenght is 3Hrs 48 Min (229min) (Once Upon A Time in America).

When I burned the DVD (or in the HDD), the removable subtitles were fine until 198min, then they appears any time but in order.

If I wach the file .MV2+.SRT (with e.g. Media Player Classic) the subtitles are OK for the hole movie. So I assume the subtitles are OK.

I'm using KDVD HD1 format for the video, AC3 audio and SRT subtitles.

I also try Ulead DVD Workshop 2, but the audio and subtitles were both out of sync. from video.

    Everyone knows about this ?

    Any help please?

    THANKS,
    Mike

Just guessing, but it sounds like there may be something wrong with the video stream at 198 minutes into the video. Does the audio stay in sync with the video after the subtitles stray off? It may be a minor glitch in the mpeg stream, that media player classic is able to deal with, but other decoders were not. Im not very familiar with the encoding settings of kdvd. They may not be producing a valid mpeg stream.

    liquid217 :

    Yes, the audio is OK.

The original movie is in 4 AVIs. If I burn a DVD like 4 MV2s segments/chapters, I can see full movie, no problem. Maybe, this means that the final part it's OK.
But if I join the 4 AVIs, SRTs first then make 1 mv2, 1 AC3 and 1 SRT, that's what it happens.

    Thank you!!!
