    Hello all,

I use GUI for dvdauthor and I spent a few hours on a project, yet I come across an unpleasant error. It seems to be an infamous problem: ERR: SCR moves backwards, remultiplex input. Also, when I dragged the .VOB file that I have (I had 4 .VOB files that I combined with command prompt command vob1.vob+vob2.vob etc.). The result is called Adelaide.VOB. When I drag it onto my project, it says:
    Inconsistent Timecodes! SCR=1.48sec, GOP = 8241.60 sec.
ChapEditGFD will probably not work properly.
GFD will use GOP for duration...
Then it gives me the window, and I put in my own chapters (text based). So then I make my menus and everything, I click "Create DVD" which it gives me this:

Any ideas on how to fix this? Also, please be patient, I have never done a DVD before. Thanks

    Cheers,

As the error says, inconsistent timecodes. Pasting together VOBs is the cause. That's a pretty brutal way to join video.

There are probably many ways to repair the timecodes. One way that should work is to demux your VOB to video and audio. Then use these as your inputs to GfD. GfD will remux and make time codes in the process.

That's your problem. Use vobmerge instead, or use vob2mpg to extract + merge the mpg out of the vobs.

What do you recommend I demux it with?

    Hey Everyone,

Thanks for all of your prompt replies but I used vob2mpg like mats.hogberg suggested and it worked like a charm! Thanks for all your suggestions.
