    Can a SVCD be run on a VCD player???

    If it supports it. What does your manual say? Have you tried one yet? Have you checked the player list to see if it's in there?

    SVCD is a step up from VCD (MPEG2 vs MPEG1). So a VCD player doesn't necessarily support SVCD.
