My video setup consists of a new Sony KV-32HS510 and a new Koss
KS3120-2. I use component video cables.
I noticed that when I power-off the Koss DVD player, some channels (not all channels) has a lot of white dots on the screen. Surely enough, when I unplugged the power code, these white dots disappeared. Furthermore, when I plugged back the power code, power-on the DVD player, these white dots disappeared.
Both my TV and the Koss are connected to an UPS, so, power supply is not a problem. Actually, I tried another power outlet, did not help.
So, I put back my old JVC DVD player and no more white dots.
In the DVD Player Forum of this DVD player, someone else (JR) did post a thread on this same issue.
What do you think ?
