I was wondering, what's the difference between the modes? There's mode1 mode1+ mode2 mode2+ mode3 mode3+. All I've been able to find is something about using mode6 for headphones and if not for them, then use mode3. It wasn't from a reliable source. My guess is mode1 has the highest quality. Please let me know.

I've never heard of Vorbis using modes like that. What encoder are you using?

I'm using winamps Disk Writer. I know it's not very good, but there's other encoders that have these 6 modes. I think VirtualDub does as well.
