  1. Can someone explain me these types of audio: dts sound ac3 dolby ? All I know is that they're used on a DVD Video. But what are their differences? I read something about that dolby was compatible with 2.0 and that dts is just for surround, no 2.0.

  2. DTS will most likely not work unless your home system is set up as such. the AC3 5.1 will work on any home stereo system. But do try to play the DTS audio from a commercial DVD and hear how it sound; I could be wrong. But do not be surprise if this soundtrack is not even accessible from your player if you do not have a DTS setup.
