  1. Hi,

I am using Adobe Premiere Pro to put together a number of video and audio clips that have a variety of audio properties. The bulk of my material is in mp3s (128 kbps, 44100 Hz) and low quality digital camera clips (64 kbps, 32000Hz). Eventually I would like to put my project on DVD (I don't have a DVD burner yet, but I plan to buy one soon). What Premiere project settings should I use to get optimal audio playback for DVD?

I test burned the project onto VCD using both Premiere DV-NTSC presets (32000 & 48000 Hz) and surprisingly 32000 sounded much better than 48000. However, since I converted from .avi to VCD .mpg with TMPGEnc, the quality difference was not as noticeable when I used the TooLame external audio engine.

So 32000 or 48000? Or something else entirely? Also, is there a way to change the project settings once the project has already been started? I don't want to do a lot of work in 32000 only to find out that another setting is better.

    Thanks.
    -Roland
