  1. Hi,

    I've got Nero Vision Express installed and am doing a few captures. However, I'm a little confused. There doesn't appear to be any way to capture a VCD (MPEG1 352x288) file?

    The only options in the 'Selct Capture Template' are DVD, SVCD or Custom. The Custom setting will only allow AVI or MPEG2 capture as well?

    Had a look at Ahead's site and they have added DV1 and DV2 option in their screenshot, but still no VCD or MPEG1?

    Look here -> ftp://ftp6.nero.com/Support_doc/PDF-Vision2/captureVideo.pdf

    Only method I can see is to Capture as MPEG2 and then use the Export function which does have a VCD template.

    Look here -> ftp://ftp6.nero.com/Support_doc/PDF-Vision2/ExportMovie-to.pdf

    Am I missing something?

    Cheers,

    NiVZ.

    Im not sure since I dont have this one installed, but it looks like you could use the option to "Make a CD from captured video" Since VCD is video on cd media, I would bet this would make a VCD for you. If not, then you could capture to MPEG2. Then use the export template to make VCD compliant files.
