WRITING AND READING PROBLEMS

I HAVE A DVD/R/RW COMBO THAT HAS A WEIRD PROBLEM, WHEN I TRY BURNING EITHER A VIDEO/DATA/AUDIO WITH NERO...THE PROGRAM WILL INDICATE "BURNED SUCCESSFULLY", BUT WHEN I TRY TO PLAY IT...MY COMPUTER SAYS THAT THE DISC IS EMPTY.
PLEASE HELP!

Might be a media problem. What kind of DVD+-R/Ws are you using (mediacode would be helpful too)? Also, you might want to try using another burning program.

WHEN YOU HIT THE BURN BUTTON IN NERO LOOK TO THE LOWER LEFT AND PUT A CHECK IN "VERIFY WRITTEN DATA". AFTER THE BURN NERO WILL CHECK TO SEE IF THE DATA ON THE DISK IS THE SAME AS WHAT IT TRIED TO BURN.

This option only seems to be available in Nero Express.

No. I have the latest version of Nero. Full version paid.

I have Nero demo 6.3.1.10

Anybody found it using that version?

Go over all your settings, again. Sounds like you have "Simulate Burn" checked, not "Finalize Disk" nor even "Write".

Also after you burn the DVD look at the bottom. You can see how much has been burned. Believe it or not it is a slightly different color. Compare it to an unburned disk. Does it look like most of the disk is burned?

I slowed it done cause it was giving Baldrick the shits.

I'd say 0 Hz would be better or increase to over 100, I could use some time off work due to retina separation. You could licence this technology to CIA and reference me and Baldrick as victims of a succesfull test run.

Thanx for all your help guys....it seems i have a problem with my NERO program...a friend of mine gave me a NERO 6.3.1.10 and its all ok now..and i just would like to apologize to all of you for my annoying "ALL CAPS" text.
