Hey guys, I’ve done a whole lot of searching, I’m trying to find the best program and format to capture analog home videos to my computer using my leadtek winfast tv2000xp. I want to edit the videos(cut and improve the quality as much as possible). I’ve read mpeg-2 isn’t as versatile as avi and also that virtualdub is a really good program.
What program should I use to capture analog video(I have a video camera with the 8mm tapes plugged into my computer with composite video cables)?
What format should I use?
Thanks,
Kevin
