  1. Hi everyone!

Well - I bit the bullet a short while back and upgraded DVDWS to 2.0(.11). Having done that, I've now had two seperate occasions where this has happened:

I have a 90 minute mpg all set up for NTSC DVD standards: CBR encoded & 48Khz, 384kbs MPG2 audio. I drop it into DVDWS and start setting up the chapters. As I get closer to the end of the piece, DVDWS decides that I can no longer add chapters beyond a certain point. In this case, I've reached 1hr 18min 43sec. Anything beyond that and the app jumps back to 1:18:43. It doesn't allow me to add any chapters beyond this point. I can view the piece. I just can't build its components for the DVD. What gives? Missing I-frames? Some encoding error? Am I the only one with this problem?

    Cheers

I read your post but I'm sorry I haven't had the problem; perhaps post your question on the DMN Forums or Creative Cow, or the ulead message board. There are links to all of them on ulead's site (if you havent' already done so)

  3. Yeah - I'll have a look again. I did have a quick look around various forums, DMN included. Nothing came up, which is why I brought it here first.

  4. No luck at all! Strange. I'm using all the same apps as everyone, encoding with 'normal settings'. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to check, add, and remove i-frames in an mpeg? I'd like to at least rule out that the keyframes exist and *would* function properly. I can't lay all the blame on DVDWS just yet

  5. I don't know why, but updating DVDWS to 2.21 seems to have fixed the problem. I have not burned the final project yet but in editing mode I've been able to get to set chapters later on. I'll post a followup once the project is complete.
