I just made a dvd from a dv presentation at school.
Now I need to take a few sections of my dvd-r presentation and get some 30 second to 1 minute clips for another final presentation from that dvd.
I know it can been done but what would be the easiest way for someone just like me.
I am still getting familiar with dvd editing and the simpler the better.
    Thanks allot.

  2. I've been using smartipper to rip the files, then dvd2avi and then tmpge to get the parts you want.

    Thanks for the help.
Actually I found out that using Virtual Dub with the original avi I captured was easier.
But, the guide on doing DVD clips was really cool.
I have been wanting to build a DVD of some comedy skits from some dvds I own.
That is the way to do it.I didnt have the slightest clue that dvd shrink could be used like that.
