How to cut out a part from DVD?

How do you cut in handbrake? You can choose titles and chapter to chapter but not custom cutting or?

I noticed with DVD Shrink, when you cut out a piece of a movie, then you are stuck with 2 titles (the part before and after the cut). Is there a way to have the movie remain as one title? Or use another software to combine the 2 titles back to one title?
