    As of now (at least as far as I know) you can't backup/copy a DVD-A that is encrypted. Some DVD-A's allow you to make mp3 or Cd copies but not 5.1. Thera are a few freeware/shareware that do the trick. Then if you want to author a DVD-A you can do that with DiscWelder (comes in serveral flavours) or Wavelab 5 (the latest version) but they cost a bundle.
    If you have a DVD-A that is not encryptet then just rip burn with you ordinary DVD rip/burning tools. I havn't seen a DVD-A that is larger than 4,7 Gb so they'll fit on a regular DVD +-R

    Correction, I just realized that the bronze version of discWelder only costs 99$. (the chrome verision goes for 2500$).
