1. what app are you using to view it? DVD Player? VLC?
2. did you do anything special to the dvd, remove portions for example, if so it wont load in DVD Player but should load no problems in VLC
try VLC and see if it can play the dvd -
i compered the dvd shrink (windows) with dvd backup and ripper and realized that shrink is a lot faster than anything and i dont know why!!!

dvd backup is OLD SCHOOL, slow and unreliable
use Mac The Ripper......
not sure why its not playing in your macs, the only way is if for some reason its not standard dvd structure........ like you played around with the IFO's or manually edited content out by replacing the .vobs
did it play in VLC? www.videolan.org -
Do the DVDs mount in the Finder on the eMac and PowerBook? What version of MacOS X are they running? Do you burn to DVD-R media or DVD+R media?
As for DVDShrink vs. DVD2OneX, make sure you are comparing them on comparable hardware. I mean, if you're running DVDShrink on a P4 3 GHz and DVD2OneX on a G4 800 MHz, then obviously, there will be a difference in speed. Also, different DVDs take different amounts of time to compress, so make sure you're testing the same DVD on both.I like systems, their application excepted.
