Hi my friend has installed Cyberlink Power Suite and when using Power DVD Copy is getting a problem.
He puts a DVD in and the program checks it then shuts down. He has wrote this down for me and I think its the error message he is getting.
Power DVD MFC Application
APP Name Power DVD Copy EXE APP
Ver 1.0.0.3204 Mod Name NTDLL.DLL
MOD VER 5.1 2600.2180 Offset 0001142E
His DVD Drive is a Sony AWG170A and he's on XP SP2 and has installed every Windows update and firmware from the Cyberlink website. He has tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program but still gets the same message.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

Is this a commercial dvd that is being backed up? If so then the powerdvd copy suite might either not do commercial discs at all or is not up to date enough.
Try a free app like dvdfabdecrypter or ripit4me. Then import the ripped vobs into the rest of the powerdvd suite.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
It happens with any dvd he tries.
I think he also tried to burn something which was on his computer but got the same error.
