I reported my R200 tray loading fault to Epson via their online form a week ago and have heard nothing.
I know a couple of you have had replacement printers, but how long did Epson take to respond?

  2. I Don't know how Epson in the US respond, but thankfuly you don't live here, or you would be thankful to get a reply after 2 weeks. Are you still under the warranty ?

When I first complained (last week) I'd only had the printer fourteen days, it's now three weeks old, bloody thing

  4. Mmm... did you buy it on the net or in a store ? did you contact the place you bought the printer from ?

Personaly I prefer Canon printers, but that's because here ink for Epson, HP and all the rest costs just as much as a printer or half of it (2 HP inks = new printer!) and Canon's Ink is the cheapest around.

I bought it online and no, I figured I'd go to Epson directly as some folks here have discussed the same problem with them (albeit Epson US, not uk).

  6. I Think you should first contact the place where you bought it from, that's what I would do.

I phoned them, told em my problem and they sent a new printer. Got it 4 days after I called them. Not too shabby.

To be honest i would have thought you would have been better just contacting where you bought from for replacement as they could well have arranged a replacement free of charge to you. Your contract of sale is with the shop not the manufacture. If you get no satisfaction from the shop then a complaint to epson would be in order, but as its not working the shop will have to replace it...
