  1. I got a sony drx-530ul yesterday so with the little knowledge I have with cd burning I tried it out, so I switched the .avi format to dvd format using tmpgenc and then I added chapters and burnt it using tmpgenc dvd author. The thing that I just tried to play it using PowerDVD with came with my dvd burner and I have no idea why, but the sound and also the image skips, a llot, has anyone had this problem? Is it a problem of the DVD burner or just the tmpgenc stuff I have been uding that dosent work??
    Thanks in advanced, LucasIga

It's user error. Sorry, but this has a learning curve. This site has many guides, as does mine. Get to reading, and welcome to video.

Looks like your keyboard doesn't work either

Seriously though, try out the guides on the left (if you havent't already). When you author a dvd, create the folders first, then use PowerDVD to play it from your hard drive. If it aouthored and compiled okay, it should play and be safe to burn.

    Try burning it with Nero.
